Update

Man I've been bad about blogging. This will probably be my last blog of 2009. That's crazy this year went by so fast. As I mentioned in another post I fell down some stairs back in November. It didn't hurt that bad and it only swelled up for a few days. I was feeling pretty good until a few weeks ago. For some reason my foot started swelling up again and hurting. I went to get it checked out and it's fractured. It's really a pain to have a a fractured ankle at my job.

Dustin ended up back in the hospital this month. It's pretty much the same thing he had back in May. He was in the hospital for a week. It's so stressful when this happens. I always feel so bad for him cause it's so painful. The doctor's still haven't figured anything out. The doctor's even take pictures to show other doctor cause it's so interesting to them. Pretty much every time this happens Dustin is going to end up in the hospital. He is on medicine all the time to prevent this it just isn't working.

Thanksgiving and Christmas were fun. We just spent time here in St. Louis with my family. I had to work Thanksgiving day which stunk but I still got to dinner on time. I got off Christmas day which I didn't think I was going to. Dustin gets really excited for Christmas and ended up waking up at 12:20 Christmas morning. He was smart enough not to wake me up though. He was so sweet he did some major cleaning. It was a great present to wake up to such a clean apartment. Then we opened our presents and went over to my parents for sour dough pancakes. We just hung out there the rest of the day play games and having fun.

I had my birthday. Grown up birthday's aren't as fun. I had to work and so did Dustin. After we got off work we went and saw Avatar in 3D. Neither of us really wanted to see it but everyone kept telling us we should and we are obi dent. It was really good. Both of us really really liked it. I thought it was going to be some nerdy scifi movie and it wasn't at all. I would recommend it to everyone especially in 3D. Now I'm 21 and as people keep telling me I'm old enough to get married now.

This year has been great all things considered. We had a little scare with Dustin's school but it all worked out. He is going to be starting his last semester in Jan. He will graduate in May. Right now we're just trying to figure where life is going to take us. We really don't like out apartment and want to move but we think it's probably the best just to sign our lease for another 6 months. That means were going to be in St. Louis at least until the end of August. Then we may just move some where right out side St. Louis or some where completely different just depending on the job Dustin gets.

I really would like to go to school but we're at least waiting till Dustin gets out of school. Then there's the whole problem if we move and if credits can be transferred and stuff. I'm planning on going to become a Dental Hygienist. I would get to work with people, which I'm really good at. I would make good money and if we ever have kids I could work while they were at school.

Speaking of kids. I never thought in a million years this would be a trial I would face. It really has been a struggle. I am hoping we can say we're expecting in 2010. I'm so exited that I get 2 more nieces next year. That will give Dustin and I so more practice with babies and hopefully some cousin's close to the age of our kids.

This year has gone by so fast. Being married definitely brings some challenges but the blessing are amazing. I'm so grateful that we have such amazing friends, family, and ward that help us out during all our trials. I always get in a rut in the middle of trials I feel like we're never going to see the light at the end. Once I do I start to see all the blessings that came from it. There are lots of things I'm working and that is one of them but I think I am doing better.

I'm Unique

On Monday I noticed this weird thing on the side of my neck. My first thought was that it was a zit so I forgot about it. Tuesday I noticed that there were a bunch of bumps around it. Once again thought it was weird but figured it was just one of those zits I get sometimes that are completely under the skin. Well later on that night I noticed that along my jaw bone was starting to swell up. I just figure it was something weird and ignored it. It kept getting worse and Dustin was on the phone with his mom and asked her if she had any ideas on what was up. She said it was an allergic reaction. My reaction I'm not allergic to anything. Finally I called my mom and she said it was probably an allergic reaction. I went to the store and got some benadryl. By that time my face was starting to swell up. Anyways it was a spider bite. I'm fine now.
On Thursday my clumsy self fell down some stairs and twisted my ankle and landed with all me weight on my knee. I thought my foot was broken but it's not. It still hurts alot and is swollen, I can barley put my shoe on. I walk around limping but it's hard to do cause on my other leg my knee is so swollen and bruised it hurts to walk and also I really can't bend it. Anyways that's it I just thought I would share my uniqueness.

Car Saga

Just a heads up I haven't blogged in FOREVER so I went crazy today. I think probably this whole page is all new. Have fun :)!

Before Dustin and I got married a friend gave Dustin a Toyota Celica. It was old a kind of junk but it got the job done. About a year ago 3rd gear went out so when Dustin would shift he would have to go straight from 2nd to 4th. Everyone was surprised that the car was still going. It made me really nervous because I never knew how much longer the car was going to make it.
Well a friend of ours got into an accident and gave us his car. It took about 20 mins to fill up with gas because the line was so messed up it would keep shutting off the pump. The back bumper was gone. The trunk didn't close. The 2 back doors didn't open because the frame so bent. Even with all that the car worked great so whatever we took it. Well Dustin has been working and working on that car trying to fix things so it could pass safety and things like that. After months of Dustin trying it and taking it to sever different places it was finally decided that the only way it would pass was to fix the whole frame of the car. Let me tell you that is not an inexpressive thing to do. We decided just to give the car back to the guy so he could sell it as a parts car. That left us with a problem though what to do about a car for Dustin.
Now we have a really BIG really LOUD Dodge truck. Dustin loves it I don't care whatever a cars a car. It is a bit older but doesn't have anything major wrong with it. I am so happy it is NOT a fixer upper. That was the one thing I didn't want so now we should have this car truck whatever for awhile. Hopefully this means the end to our car saga, at least for a few years.

26 Years

Dustin's birthday was on October 28th. He had to work so that kind of sucked. We really just relaxed and hung out at home. I made Oh Barbara for Dustin's birthday cake and took chocolate syrup and wrote "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" on it. It turned out really good and it was fun. I got Dustin a bunch of hot wheels cars for his collection and one of those cars where you build it and paint it and everything like that. I will have to take some pictures and show you the progress but it's fun. My parents also got Dustin a really nice pair of work boots. All in all we had a good time it wasn't that exciting or anything but it was fun.

Fulton Trip

Dustin and I went down to visit his family last weekend. His family was getting together for a bonfire. It was really a lot of fun. I left my camera in the car but oh well. We mainly just hung out a ate some really good food. Since there was a fire we had some good dutch oven potatoes, yummy yummy yummy! The next day we went to church and then went a visited with the rest of the family we hadn't seen the night before. One of the people we visited was Grandma Jo and she gave me some pictures of Dustin from when he was younger. I was really exciting for me because I had never seen any pictures from when Dustin was younger. Also we stopped off to go see Dustin's old horse but he wasn't out. It was ok though because we got to pet and play with the other horses. We also went to Dustin's grandfather and grandmother's grave and left some flowers.

I just thought this was pretty and thought I would share

Work

Well I got a new job again. I'm working at a kennel, although they call it a Hotel and Spa. It is so much fun. It's crazy what so people will do for their pets but whatever. All I do is play with dogs and get a great workout and I get paid for it.

A grassy area where the dogs play and also if you look closely you can see the little dog pool bu the building.

Another play area

This is the slumber suite the picture got cut off but that is the top bunk of our bunk beds. Yes, that is a plasma TV.

Another area where dogs stay

Now the luxury suites are intense. There have hand painted walls really cool looking beds and they have music or TV on at all times. Usually the dogs that stay in these rooms the owners make the food. One dog eats better than I do.
